Maggots

So we woke up Monday morning and my companion went to the bathroom and I went to wash my face. I see all these little pieces of Ramen noodles on the floor in our tiny house and I thought my companion opened a bag of Ramen and accidentally dropped it or something. I looked more clearly and they were all moving. I yelled at my companion. So ya we had maggots in our house. Like probably 200 all over the floor. I don't know where they came from or anything but I think we got it all cleaned up. Fun times.

This week was amazing. Daniel and Lagi both got baptized! They were amazing baptisms. Unfortunately Ase didn't get baptized, he left home to go backside and never came back.  He is supposed to come back this week so we will see. We have 3 baptisms this week with Siala, Angelo, and Nuuese. Nuuese is a MIRACLE. We met him last week, long story short he is so prepared and has come to church the past 4 weeks and is getting baptized now. Siala is actually the first person I met when I came to this area, it has been so cool see her progress towards baptism. Her marriage was last Saturday as well, it was pretty cool. I was able to go to Faaliliu's baptism! She was an old investigator from my first area, I was the one that found her and started her lessons, we found her on the road and helped her carry her groceries to the house, now she and her son got baptized. Miracle. Soooo happy to be there.

Our Mission President and wife just gave us all a 250 song playlist of songs that we are allowed to listen too. It has been such a blessing. Like I love MOTAB and all but after a year of MOTAB it has been nice to listen to other things. Also, more changes! Our mission president is now allowing members to feed us! Previously it has been against the rules to eat dinner at members houses unless we are doing an FHE with nonmembers. But starting September 1st we can now have dinner at members houses. Probs put on another 20 pounds haha. We are all excited about that change as well.

This mission is the best thing I have ever done. Truly amazing seeing miracles everyday and being able to be a servant of the Lord. I am soooo blessed to see people change their lives. TRULY change their lives. I love my Heavenly Father.

No pictures

First of all sorry no pictures, I know most people just look at the pics, but my sd card converter broke. Also, Sorry didn't get an email off last week we were super busy with transfers. I didn't get transferred but all the Zone Leaders basically have to drive everyone around, so we were busy all day. It has been a crazy good last two weeks. Elder Ama and I have seen SO much success. We are truly blessed. Since our mission continues to go low on missionaries we are now covering 8 wards. So basically this past week has been the busiest week of my life. We have like 19 investigators with a baptismal date right now. And we try to visit them all everyday so it is just crazy. Its super fun though the Lord's work is amazing. We are blessed to have 3 baptisms this week as well for Ase, Daniel, and Lagi.

So much has happened but I will just share 1 MIRACLE we had this past week. Me and my companion went to visit an investigator we found in the area book and she was just GOLDEN. And she has 3 kids all baptismal age. They all accepted Baptism for next month on the first visit. It was amazing. We took them to the visitors Center the next day. She told us and the other missionaries that she PRAYED and received and ANSWER. She just started bawling super hard, I was just sooooo happy. She talked with her family about it and her husband is interested in taking lessons and talking with us(still haven't found a time to meet with him), and her family is super mad at her. She said her family hates her now, but she can't deny the answer she received. We asked her how she felt about the restoration video after we watched it, she replied "It's all true". We are sooooo blessed. I am super excited for her and the family, we pray that her family's hearts will be softened.

I am soo thankful for everything the Lord has blessed me and others around me with. God loves all of us. We are all his children. Everything is busy and going well here in Samoa!

New Comp!

So I got a new companion 2 days ago. Elder Mauigoa went on the other side of the island and I got Elder Ama, who was previously serving in Savaii! We got to drop off Mauigoa on the backside and it was sooooo cool going back there, it was my first time. Samoa is so cool. We saw a cool waterfall also. Elder Ama is done in like 3 months, and we are gettting along really good. I think this area is about to blow up I am super excited. We have already seen a lot of progress the past couple days.

Junior and Sachin both got baptized! Sachins baptism was literally just us, and the bishop because we had to do it at a weird time on a Friday morning. Juniors baptism was crazy. The whole entire ward came. It was probably one of the coolest baptisms I have seen on my mission. The ward was super surprised he was getting baptized. His Uncle was able to do his baptism for him. We also were able to go to the temple this morning to do baptisms for the dead, because some other missionaries were bringing a friend, and they needed to bring more priesthood, we were lucky. The temple is always an amazing experience.

We had a cool FHE with Coman (Our Chinese Friend) and an HEFY group from America. It was all kind of last minute put together but it was really spiritual, and he now told us he believes in God and Jesus, so we are making progress! So cool!!!

The Church is True! Missionary work is sooooo awesome! It is amazing the see the miracles God has in store for us, all we have to do is have some faith! Love you all have a great week.

Finally touched the Ocean!!
