So we woke up Monday morning and my companion went to the bathroom and I went to wash my face. I see all these little pieces of Ramen noodles on the floor in our tiny house and I thought my companion opened a bag of Ramen and accidentally dropped it or something. I looked more clearly and they were all moving. I yelled at my companion. So ya we had maggots in our house. Like probably 200 all over the floor. I don't know where they came from or anything but I think we got it all cleaned up. Fun times.
This week was amazing. Daniel and Lagi both got baptized! They were amazing baptisms. Unfortunately Ase didn't get baptized, he left home to go backside and never came back. He is supposed to come back this week so we will see. We have 3 baptisms this week with Siala, Angelo, and Nuuese. Nuuese is a MIRACLE. We met him last week, long story short he is so prepared and has come to church the past 4 weeks and is getting baptized now. Siala is actually the first person I met when I came to this area, it has been so cool see her progress towards baptism. Her marriage was last Saturday as well, it was pretty cool. I was able to go to Faaliliu's baptism! She was an old investigator from my first area, I was the one that found her and started her lessons, we found her on the road and helped her carry her groceries to the house, now she and her son got baptized. Miracle. Soooo happy to be there.
Our Mission President and wife just gave us all a 250 song playlist of songs that we are allowed to listen too. It has been such a blessing. Like I love MOTAB and all but after a year of MOTAB it has been nice to listen to other things. Also, more changes! Our mission president is now allowing members to feed us! Previously it has been against the rules to eat dinner at members houses unless we are doing an FHE with nonmembers. But starting September 1st we can now have dinner at members houses. Probs put on another 20 pounds haha. We are all excited about that change as well.
This mission is the best thing I have ever done. Truly amazing seeing miracles everyday and being able to be a servant of the Lord. I am soooo blessed to see people change their lives. TRULY change their lives. I love my Heavenly Father.
