Zone Conference

This last week was awesome! We had zone conference which was super cool, my companion and I had a teaching segment with some dope paper airplanes. President was here the rest of the weekend. Jay unforuntantly was not baptized, we are aiming for next month on the 18th now. The family we are teaching are doing soooo good, they will be baptized next week! We are soooo excitied. True conversion! My new companion is a beast and we are killing it together, he goes home in 1 month! Everything is going well out here in Samoa!

New Companion

Transfers were this past week and I am staying here in American Samoa, Elder Hapuku got sent over to Savaii, crazy. Elder Hapuku is the man, gonna miss him a lot. My new companion is Elder Rivera, he is from West Jordan Utah. This guy finishes NEXT MONTH. We are working super well together and I can't wait for this next transfer going to kill it.

The work is going really well. The family we are teaching are doing so well and should be set for their baptism next month. This week is Flag Day for American Samoa, which is like a huge celebration of when they signed the treaty with America to become a Territory I think. We went to a fireworks show over the ocean and It was actually pretty dope. Bless up. We have a friend getting baptized this week, his name is Jay and he is super Golden. Can't wait to see him enter into the waters. Zone conference is tomorrow lets gooooo.

WE GETTIN A TEMPLE

Conference was HYPE. Elder Cook was talking about American Samoa, while we are like a 2 minute drive from where Elder Haleck lives, and then President Nelson coming in CLUTCH with the new temple announced here. Honestly, such a spiritual experience, When they announced it everyone just gasped, then I looked around and everybody was just silently crying. Such a special time to see everyone so happy. This island has been so blessed.

We went on a 2 day split these past couple days. I was with Elder Brown from Australia, it was super hype. I think we all learned a lot. Splits are always good times. We are teaching this family that should be getting baptized at the beginning of next month. They have been such a miracle, and want to learn so much! It is so amazing seeing a whole family change as they come to Jesus Christ. The church is true!

April Fools

Me and my companion had a good prank on our zone announcing that the length of missions have changed and the monthly money we receive went way down. Love jokes. They were freaking out in district meetings, we got them good. Also, good news-the van window should be fixed soon, they just have to ship the window from the states lol. Such a long process.

We were pulling into a store today when we met LUCAS!!! He is a guy me and my other companion taught and baptized over in Upolu. Man I was soooooo HYPED. Tender Mercies.

We are really excited for General Conference!! We watch it live here at 5 am both days. So that will be fun and really really tiring days. So excited to see what the Lord has in store for us. The church is true!!
