Splits

This week was another great one. Unfortunately neither of our baptisms went through, but Peni will for sure be baptized this Saturday. I am just absolutely loving the mission I honestly am just so happy and feel so lucky to be in Samoa. Samoa is truly a holy place.

We did an awesome split yesterday and I went with Elder Love and Elder Puletua. Man It was so awesome seeing other missionaries and how they do the work. Splits are always a great experience. I love going to other areas and experiencing different things and working with other people. We taught this lady named Rosetta and we asked what her desires for her family are. She just broke down and explained family problems she was having. I feel so lucky to be able to see how this Gospel really does bless people and families. The church is true!

We spent all Pday going around Savaii. It took like 6 hours to go all the way around but it was so amazing. This place is just something else. I'm gonna miss Samoa so much. The work is going really well. We are seeing so many miracles with prepared people! Saumani got baptized along with a 9 year old we found named Adolf. We also have a baptism this Saturday for a guy in our Sunday School we cover. The Lord's work is moving forward!

This week was a super average week, we had some pretty big transfers in our zone today which turned into a long night last night. Life is good here in Savaii. The work is moving forward and we have a baptism this week with a guy named Saumani. He is a stud. The work is going well and the church is true!

We sang at a Baptism

So sometimes I am really sarcastic and say dumb things. It usually never comes back to me but it did this week. We were talking to the bishops counselor about the program for the baptism. I jokingly said that my companion would like to sing a solo. Long story short we both had to sing a duet, it was HORRIBLE. It was so bad that the members sang along with us. Super embarrassing. 

Fale got baptized! It was a really amazing baptism. It is so special to see those that are truly converted enter into the waters of baptism.

We had a stake conference this past week and it was maybe the best one I have been to on my mission. Elder Nattress of the seventy came, this stake needs a lot of help. It was a very spiritual conference as we learned a lot.

Last night we had to drive to a village called Asau, on the far end of the island to pick up some sisters and drop them off on the other side of the island. IT was cool seeing other parts of the island as well. Samoa is so awesome.
