I'm Coming Home!!

Quick Awesome Story: Last Saturday we woke up to a gunshot right next to our house, then we heard all this commotion. I walked outside and there are like 2 kids and the Stake Presidents Councilor with massive rocks they are chucking at our house. Remember this is like 6:30 am. I ask whats up, long story short there was a pig under out house and another guy was trying to shoot it with a gun while we were sleeping inside. Sketchy. We spent the next 25 minutes chasing a wild massive pig around the church grounds and chucking rocks at it until it died. It was pretty awesome.

I come home in 2 days!!! I can't believe it. I never thought I could love the people of Samoa as much as I do. I said all my goodbye's yesterday. I took the early morning boat to come to the mission home, and I will be able to see lots of people from my first 2 areas tonight. I love this work and I love our Savior, Jesus Christ. See you all soon!

ONE MORE WEEK

Time is running short! This last week was awesome! Tuaoi got baptized! She is a 77 year old who is just the best! I couldn't believe how happy she was when she came out of the water. Honestly probably one of the best baptisms I have been too. The ward came out with a lot of support. Such a special time. We had MLC yesterday which means we went back to Upolu. MLC was good, lots of new faces but the meeting was powerful. I was able to share my last testimony at that meeting. I am eternally grateful for this opportunity to serve the Lord in Samoa. I'm looking forward to this last week!

Sunday School

This week was so amazing. Peni got baptized! Haha it was just my companion and I, the bishop, 1 other priesthood holder and Peni and the baptism. I conducted it and Bishop led the music hahaha, a baptism never to forget and the spirit was strong as always. Man we went to our Sunday School on Sunday for the first time. This family lives in a Village where the church is against the rules. So they have a tiny little Sunday school that they meet at on Sundays just in their house. The only worthy Melchizedek Priesthood holders were us 2, the Stake President's councilor, and the Bishops councilor. Those 2 travel every Sunday to visit the Sunday School and help out. It is really cool seeing this family being a Pioneer for this tiny Village. One day the High Chief will change his mind.

This week has been FULL of miracles of finding more prepared people who accepted baptism. We found an old Lady that is 77 years old who will be baptized this Saturday. Her whole family is members but she is just now accepting the gospel. She has a hard time seeing and hearing so her lessons are a bit of a struggle. But man when she shares her desires the spirit is so strong! It has been such a blessing to work with her and see the blessings come into her life and family. The work is going well, time is running short but we are working hard!

A missionary came from Upolu to be in our Zone and President sent her with McDonalds to give to me and my companion. CLUTCH
