Home Court Advantage

This past week we went back to Upolu for another meeting. I can't even describe how good it feels to be back on that island. Being in the airplane over the island and seeing the houses it just looks soooooo amazing. I love Upolu. We had a great MLC meeting with President. In 24 hours I went to the temple, ate Indian food, took a hot shower, and slept with Air Conditioning. Best 24 hours ever. The next morning we went to the Lotopa Chapel, where I served for 14 months and we played basketball. Talk about Home Court Advantage. Its good to be back here in American Samoa though and keep the work going. We really hit a slump last week but man have we just been blessed with so many new people! No place I would rather be.

Shattered Window

Well, I shattered the window to the massive van we drive. Probably not the most fun call I have made to our President. We were trying to fit between a semi truck that was stuck and a building and the side view mirror of the semi truck rubbed against a massive window on our van and shattered it. A chinese guy was guiding us along and told us to keep going. Not at all what I wanted. So we duct taped the whole window. The next day the engine overheated (that one wasn't my fault) which means we are now driving the pick up truck again, which is exactly what I want.

We had 2 baptisms with Phiness and Mele, both so awesome! So prepared and ready to be baptized. Amazing seeing not only lives change but families as well! The church is true!

Tour the Island!

We spent this whole day going around the whole island and seeing everything, it was sooooo dope. Good pictures below. We have had a great week here in American Samoa! We had stake Conference and President and Sister Ho Ching came which was really good. We also found a new friend named Epi who will be baptized next month, she has been so prepared to receive this message. The Lord is always blessing us! 2 baptisms this week with Mele and Phiness!! The Church is true!

18 months???

What a crazy week. Last week we had just finished dinner when the member we were with got a call from the branch president counselor's wife saying to come give a blessing. Well that meant we all went over to give the blessing. We showed up and there was an ambulance there and we are like oh shoottt. We go inside and he is like eyes opened unconscious, wasn't responding or moving. 7 of us had to carry him into an ambulance. This guy was a HUGE Samoan that we are trying to carry out of his room onto a stretcher. It was an intense couple of minutes. My companion and I were able to give a quick blessing inside the ambulance and then they left. Priesthood Power is real, he was at church that Sunday!

Sape got baptized this last week!!! Sape is a 9 year old beast, shared an amazing testimony at his baptism and his mom now wants to be baptized!! It's amazing what kids testimonies can do!

We had a lot of transfers this week and a lot of our zone got changed around, I'm really excited for the future and what it holds! The Church is true!!!

Rain Rain Go AWAY

It has just been raining sooooooo much this week. So many nights waking up wet. The window next to my bed still hasn't gotten fixed so when the wind is high all the rain comes in on me. Literally every night. It is cyclone season, so like lowkey would be hyped if a cyclone came, but at the same time not what we want.

Neti and Robert got baptized!!! Man both of these baptisms were just amazing. I learned how to do the baptismal prayer in Tongan, my first time doing it. I'm really trying to get this Tongan figured out but it is wayyy hardd. Robert's baptism was amazing as well.

Last Friday we had a ward missionary activity and at the end the whole ward sang Happy Birthday and gave me a cake. Honestly at first I didn't know they were singing to me, then everyone was looking at me and I just had no idea what to do. I think my Comp told someone it was my Bday. Love Samoa.

Forgot the S haha
