Crazy week

This week was one that I would be ok not living again haha. I was in a trio with some other elders waiting for my new companion, who's flight from American Samoa got delayed and he got here a day late. Then the next day we spent at the hospital because some other sisters were sick. We got home that night and had to run some quick errands for President at like 11 at night, as well as the night afterwards. We then had to drop off some missionaries on the 6am boat. Lucky we asked president if we could just sleep till district meetings at 10am so that was nice. Then we had to take the 6am boat today to drop off baptismal papers in Upolu. I almost threw up this morning. Honestly, was a tough week and we didn't get to proselyte very much. But very much looking forward to this next week!

We have a baptism  this week with this girl named Fale. She has been a work in process. We had to ask her 80 year old grandpa for permission to baptize her. So here we are with my old companion who is a native, and our ward mission leader and the old grandpa. We talked a little bit then the ward mission leader looks at me and my companion and my companion just looks at me. I was like oh shoot. I just tried to use as many super respectful words that I know and ask permission. What a blessing from God that it worked. My new companion Elder Tiatia is the man, he is from New Zealand and has 5 months left. Next week we will be the oldest companionship in the mission. The work moves forward!
