This week was another money week here in Samoa. Other than the fact that Samoa doesn't do unlimited power. So how the power works here is you pay for a certain amount and when it is up there is no power. So we have had a big problem with the people we live with and the mission office and who pays the power. Basically nobody has been paying for it so twice this week we get home to no power so we just sit in our house in pitch black and 85 degrees getting wrecked by mosquitoes because we don't have a fan. It was horrible. Eventually the office got us some. I still don't know if they got it figured out for the long term though. Anyways...
Samantha and Sivelia both got baptized last week! Sivelia is this 11 year old girl that literally doesn't stop smiling she is the funniest. Whita and Ivi will be getting baptized next week, we can't do this week because it is stake conference in that stake. A girl named Manamea is getting baptized this Saturday is our new ward we picked up. She is getting married right before her baptism as well. Most of our investigators need to be married.
We had a miracle this week! Last Thursday we were walking on a dirt path to an appointment and a woman carrying groceries was a good couple hundred feet in front of us but then she stopped to rest, we caught up to her and carried her groceries for her and walked to her house. Basically the Lord prepared her for us. We did a lesson with her on Saturday and she just talked about how Mormons are so blessed and she wants those blessings and she loves the church. Such a testimony builder that the Lord is always preparing people. She has a baptismal date for the 30th, and she has like 3 kids not baptized also. Her husband is an extremely weak member that hasn't been to church in over 20 years. I am so excited for her.
The area continues to progress, the Lords work is so amazing. The church is true, I hope everyone has a great week!
